Sustainable Overton is working with Sustainable Basingstoke to help improve the beautiful wildflower meadows and thickets at Overton Hill.
Activities to improve the site for biodiversity and the local community include thicket thinning, tree guard removal, engaging with and educating the local community, and seed collection and dispersal.
The first few dates for their work parties will be:
- Saturday 16th September
- Saturday 28th October
- Saturday 25th November
Please meet by the car park near the Overton Community Orchard at 10am. Everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary.
