Residents are being invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Overton Community Association, taking place on Tuesday 7 July at 7:30pm.
The meeting will be hosted by the trustees of the organisation and will be open to all. It offers local people the chance to hear how the past year has gone, and to look ahead at plans for the months to come.
Attendees will also be able to find out more about becoming a member, or rejoining if they have been involved before. The trustees say they want as many people as possible to get involved in shaping the future of the group and its work in the village.
An annual report will be shared on the night, giving a full update on activities and performance over the last year.
The organisation behind the meeting, Overton Community Association, is a registered charity (No. 1171431). It is responsible for managing the Overton Community Centre, a Grade-II listed building in the heart of the village. The centre is used for education, leisure, and wellbeing activities.
The association says the AGM is an important opportunity for the community to have its say and stay involved in the future of the centre and its services.
