Patients registered with Watership Down Health have been advised that the practice will close for part of the day on Thursday, 12 March 2026.
The surgery will be shut from 1pm until 6.30pm so that staff can take part in the TARGET training scheme, which focuses on Time for Audit, Research Governance, Education and Training.
The session will allow the practice’s primary care workforce to take part in professional development and governance training alongside colleagues from across the region.
During the closure, patients who need medical advice are being asked to contact the NHS out-of-hours service by calling 111.
Watership Down Health says the practice will reopen at its normal time of 8am on the next working day.
The training event has been organised by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board (ICB).
