St. Mary’s Church will be marking the season of harvest with a special service on Sunday 5th October at 10.30am. The service will be followed by a bring-and-share lunch in the church rooms, offering a chance for the community to come together in fellowship.
As part of the celebrations, there will also be an opportunity to “meet the farms” and hear more about the important work of the Trussell Trust and the Andover Foodbank, both of which play a vital role in supporting people facing hardship.
Everyone is warmly invited to join the service and lunch. Those planning to stay for the meal are asked to let the church know in advance what they would like to bring; a sign-up sheet is available at the back of the church.
Donations made on the day will go in aid of the Andover Foodbank, helping to support families in need within the local area.
