Preparations are in full swing for what promises to be another fantastic afternoon for all the family at the 2024 Hannington Country Fair, held once again in the idyllic North Hampshire village on Sunday 23rd June from noon – 4pm.
Amongst the wide range of food and drink available at the Fair this year, the award winning “Roaming Smoker”, engineered from repurposed farm machinery, will be cooking up some delicious treats for visitors before going on to feed thousands of festival goers around the country this summer.
With proceeds going to The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, who will be in attendance with a simulator, visitors to the Fair can expect to enjoy a wide range of entertainment in the arena, including from Kingsclere Performing Arts, plenty of live music, and a captivating array of animal displays. The villagers will be running a multitude of stalls, including traditional games, as well as the ever-popular tombola, teas, and plant sales. You can even test your luck at “cow pat bingo” or rise to the ancient sheaf tossing challenge.
This year’s raffle and silent auction have some incredible prizes ranging from sports tickets, holiday homes, pampering treats, and some gastronomic delights all up for grabs for some lucky winners.
The 2024 dog show will see a record number of entries, with different categories being run throughout the day, ensuring there’s something for every four-legged friend to take part in.
