Police are appealing for information after a bag of tools was found abandoned in a remote location in the village.
On the 15th of February, a concerned local resident contacted the police after witnessing a male drop a large bag of tools before fleeing the scene in the early hours of the morning.
PCSO Jones from the Basingstoke Rural Neighbourhood Team attended the scene to investigate. Officers suspect the tools may be stolen; however, no reports of missing tools have been received locally to confirm this.
Authorities are now urging anyone who may be missing a bag of tools to come forward. If you believe the tools belong to you, please contact the police on 101 and quote the crime reference number 44250070429.
Anyone with information about the incident or who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is also encouraged to contact the police.
