Overton United’s Sunday team have booked their place in the semi-finals of the Junior Challenge Cup after a strong 3-1 victory over Ludgershall Wanderers.
Goals from Louis “Mad Dog” McCann, Samie Aldoori, and Richard Sopp were enough to secure the win, overcoming the home side and keeping Overton’s cup dreams alive. With no scheduled fixtures in the coming weeks, the Sunday side will now focus on their preparations for the semi-final showdown.

Meanwhile, Overton United Vets faced a tough challenge against top-of-the-league Row Utd, falling to a 4-1 defeat. Steve Howe found the net for Overton, but Row Utd proved too strong on the day.
Next up for the Vets is a trip to Binfield Vets next Sunday, where they will look to bounce back and return to winning ways.
