Overton United Football Club have today announced that they intend to run an Under 23 side to compete in the Hampshire Combination & Development Football League.
Subject to approval by the league, the team will play on Wednesday evenings at Bridge Street.
The team will be managed by Fred Slynn, assisted by Wayne Charlton. They will work closely with the club’s first team managers Louis and Jim Macey to create a clear pathway to senior men’s football, and for young players to gain valuable experience to play at a higher level.
