Overton United maintained their perfect start to the season with an emphatic 4-0 win away at Paulsgrove on a glorious afternoon on the south coast.
Adam Hargood stole the headlines with a superb hat-trick, showing his class in front of goal and proving why he’s such a key figure for United. Louis Wilson added a fine finish of his own to round off a dominant display.
It was a day of firsts for goalkeeper Chrissy Tombs, who celebrated his first clean sheet for the club – a deserved reward for a strong defensive performance from the whole team.
The victory keeps Overton United at the top of the table and one of only three sides to have maintained a 100% record so far this season.
Next up, United are back on the road as they travel to Headley next Saturday for a 3pm kick-off.
