Overton United made it ten wins from ten after a strong 5–0 result against Paulsgrove at a wet Bridge Street. Adam Hargood opened the scoring, Charlie Short added another, and Macca Martin stole the headlines with a clean and well-taken hat-trick. The home side kept control from the first whistle and never let Paulsgrove settle. The win keeps Overton’s perfect run intact.
The reserves also enjoyed a good afternoon as they beat Woking Vets A, 3–1, to book their place in the next round. Matty Dean struck first, Louis “Mad Dog” McCann added a second, and Ash Elward wrapped it up. The reserves kept their shape, took their chances, and earned a solid away victory.
Both sides move forward with confidence as the season’s momentum builds.
