Overton’s Neighbourhood Development Plan has taken another significant step forward, as Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has confirmed that the proposed plan and its supporting documents meet the legal requirements to progress.
Following the completion of the Regulation 14 Consultation earlier this year, the council has now agreed that the plan is compliant, paving the way for the next stage — the Regulation 16 Consultation.
The formal consultation period begins on Wednesday, September 4, and will run for six weeks, closing at 5:00pm on Thursday, October 16.
During this time, residents and consultees will be able to view the documents, access supporting information, and submit feedback. Full details on how to take part will be made available by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council throughout the consultation.
Information can be accessed via the council’s website or directly through the following link: www.basingstoke.gov.uk/ONP.
The Overton Neighbourhood Development Plan is a community-led framework that sets out a vision for the future of the parish, helping to shape development and local priorities in the years to come.
