The Annual General Meeting of the Overton Memorial Institute will take place on Wednesday 25 March at 8pm in the lounge bar.
Members are invited to attend and take part in discussions on two proposed amendments to the club’s constitution. The committee is recommending that the minimum age for approval of private parties is reduced to 18 years old.
The committee will also present a proposed update relating to misconduct by club members. A new and clearer set of rules has been written, setting out offences and an appeals procedure, with the aim of making expectations and processes easier for everyone to understand.
Anyone interested in joining the committee can collect and complete a form at the bar.
All members are warmly encouraged to attend the AGM and have their say on the future of the Institute.
