The skies above Overton will once again be lit up with colour next month as the annual Overton School Association Fireworks Display returns to Overton CE Primary School on Saturday 7 November 2026.
The popular community event will take place at the school in Court Drove, with the gates opening at 5pm and the fireworks scheduled to begin at approximately 6pm.
Held in association with Overton Radio, the evening is expected to bring together families and residents from across Overton and the surrounding villages for a traditional night of fireworks and community fun.
Tickets will go on sale from 9am on Saturday 10 October, with advance tickets available ahead of the event. Organisers are encouraging people to get their tickets early and make sure the date is firmly in the diary.
As well as welcoming spectators through the gates, the organisers are also making a call for volunteers to help make the evening run smoothly.
A large community event like this takes plenty of people behind the scenes, from helping with preparations and setting up the site to assisting on the night itself. Volunteers may be needed to help with a range of jobs, including welcoming visitors, checking tickets, stewarding and other practical tasks.
