Get ready to spread some early Christmas cheer — Overton Dramatic Society is thrilled to announce that this year’s winter production is the smash-hit stage musical version of Elf!
Based on the beloved festive film, Elf: The Musical brings the story of Buddy the Elf to life with big laughs, catchy songs, and a heartwarming message perfect for the whole family. The show will run from Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th November 2026, and promises to be a seasonal spectacular.
Directors Doug and Jackie will be holding readings and auditions at the ORC on Bridge Street, starting at 7:45pm on Tuesday 17th June, and continuing every Tuesday and Thursday until casting wraps up on 10th July.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer, love helping backstage, or just fancy trying something new, ODS would love to welcome you. New members are always encouraged — no reindeer experience required.
