New programmes for 2024.

New programmes for 2024.

We’re delighted to announce some changes to the Overton Radio schedule in 2024.

From January 2nd, Paul “Golly” Robinson and Elle Hack will be on for even longer! Paul’s ‘Lunchtime Slot’ will be on from midday until 2pm every weekday, and Elle’s show will be on from 11am-2pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Following the success of our specialist shows at the weekend, they will now be on during the week as well! On Monday evenings, it’s The Quiet Storm, playing nothing but chilled out music. On Tuesdays, we’ll bring you the Retro Rewind, playing great music from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

A new show on Wednesdays called “I Like The Sound Of That” will play the greatest music of all time, as well as supporting the local music scene by playing tracks from village artists.

Classic Country will be on Thursday evening, and on Friday night, it’s our very popular Party Anthems show.

If you miss these shows, then don’t panic, because you’ll be able to hear them again over the weekend. The Retro Rewind will be repeated on Saturdays from 2pm-5pm, and on Sundays, Classic Country will air from 2pm-5pm, I Like The Sound Of That from 5pm-8pm and Quiet Storm will air from 8pm-11pm.

David Harber will continue to wake the village up every weekday morning from 7am-10am. Jenna Clark will be back with her fantastic mix of music and chat from 10am-12pm. Rob Francis’ afternoon show will now start at 2pm every weekday, and Luke Smith will continue to get you home safely with Drivetime from 4pm-7pm.

At the weekends, the breakfast show with Rob Francis will now run from 8am-11am.

We hope you will continue to support Overton Radio as we enter our second year of broadcasting.
