The festive market officially opens, offering a selection of unique gifts, food, and treats for all to enjoy. The event is being hosted by Overton Radio presenters Rob Francis, Kevin Ridgeon, Alex Soto & Sam Carrington. - 12:10pm – 1:00pm: Overton Churches Choir
The day kicks off with a beautiful performance from the Overton Churches Choir, filling the air with traditional Christmas carols and seasonal favourites. There will be a surprise as well… - 1:00pm – 1:20pm: Cocktail Choir
Get ready for a fun and lively performance from the Cocktail Choir, offering a mix of contemporary tunes with a festive twist. - 1:20pm – 1:40pm: Handbell Choir (Overton Primary School)
The children of Overton Primary School’s Handbell Choir will bring a delightful and festive touch with their sparkling performance of seasonal melodies. - 1:40pm – 2:30pm: Overton Radio
Enjoy a lively performance from the presenters of Overton Radio, with a mix of classic Christmas hits and festive surprises. - 2:30pm – 3:20pm: Overton Choral Society
The Overton Choral Society will take the stage, delivering a stunning repertoire of Christmas classics to warm your heart. - 3:20pm – 4:15pm: Sharon East
Local singer-songwriter Sharon East will bring her unique voice to the market, performing a blend of Christmas tunes and soulful melodies. - 4:15pm – 4:30pm: Guides/Brownies
The Guides and Brownies of Overton will add a magical touch with a heartwarming performance of Christmas carols. - 4:30pm – 4:45pm: Speech and Turning on of the Lights
Borough Councillor and Deputy Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Colin Phillimore, will make a special appearance to officially turn on the Christmas lights and share some festive words. - 4:45pm – 5:00pm: Guides/Brownies
The Guides and Brownies will close the musical performances with a final festive cheer. - 5:00pm: Market Close
