Two of Overton’s most popular pubs have been added to CAMRA’s 2024 Good Beer Guide.
The Old House at Home in Station Road, and the Red Lion on the High Street have been recognised for the quality of the real ale that they serve.
The Guide surveys 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK – and is the definitive beer drinker’s guide for those seeking the best pints in the nation’s pubs.
The Old House At Home, run by Ian Williams, has featured in the guide since 2021, whereas this is the first time the Red Lion have been in the guide for many years, and is a fantastic achievement for David and Victoria Harber, who took over the pub just 18 months ago.
All four local pubs in Overton serve fantastic real ale, as well as the Overton Memorial Institute, so if you fancy a tipple in the village, you’re spoilt for choice!
