Festive Music Line-Up Confirmed for Overton Christmas Market

Overton’s much-loved Christmas Market is set to return on Saturday 29th November, bringing with it a full day of festive cheer, local produce, and live entertainment. Organisers have now confirmed the musical line-up — and it’s packed with local talent ready to spread some Christmas spirit in the heart of the village.

The market officially opens at 12 noon, with the Overton Churches Choir getting festivities underway from 12.10pm with a set of seasonal favourites. They’ll be followed by the ever-popular Cocktail Choir at 1pm, bringing their unique harmonies to the high street.

At 1.20pm, the charming Overton Primary School Handbells will take the stage — always a highlight for families — before the Overton Choral Society delivers a stirring performance from 1.40pm through to 2.30pm.

Local singer-songwriter John Bird will perform from 2.30pm, followed by Sharon East at 3.20pm, both promising to keep the festive energy going with a mix of classic and contemporary tunes.

Rounding off the afternoon’s entertainment, the Guides and Brownies will take to the stage from 4.15pm with a special community sing-along to close the day’s musical programme.

The market will feature stalls from local traders, festive food and drink, and a visit from Father Christmas himself.

Overton Radio will be hosting the event throughout the afternoon, capturing the sights and sounds of the village as it officially kicks off the Christmas season.
