Cycling Stories and Practical Tips Roll Into Overton This February

Cyclists of all ages and abilities are invited to an evening of stories, ideas and inspiration when Bella’s Cycling Talks comes to The Red Lion in Overton on Friday, February 6, starting at 7pm. The relaxed event promises friendly conversation, real-world advice and plenty of cycling chat, all in the comfort of a local pub.

The evening features three speakers with very different cycling journeys. Sue Hope will share Adventures of a Senior Cycle Tourer, explaining how and why she began cycle touring, from careful budget trips to more free-spending adventures. Her talk focuses on confidence, planning and the joy of travelling by bike later in life.

Next up, Bridget Outridge looks at All Things Sportive. She will talk through popular events such as London to Brighton and Ride the Night, along with other local options. It is a chance to learn what sportives involve and how to get started without stress. Rounding off the night, Katie Jane Buckley presents Little Legs, Big Adventures, exploring cycling across the UK and Europe, with practical advice on route planning, equipment and riding with children.

Everyone is welcome, whether you ride every day or just like the idea of it. Grab a drink, enjoy the talks and stay for a chat. Bella’s Cycling Talks offers a simple aim: good stories, useful tips and a warm welcome.
