If you’re travelling in and around Basingstoke this week, be aware that Churchill Way West will be closed from overnight once again from tonight. The closure affects late evening and overnight journeys, and it means changes for anyone using the Stagecoach 76 service.
During the closure, buses on the 76 from 8pm onwards will follow a diversion route via Roman Road/Roman Way, the A339, and Ringway West.
As a result, some stops will not be served:
- Greenway (Leisure Park) – no service in either direction.
- White Hart and Worting Road Roundabout stops on Worting Road – also not served.
If you usually board at these stops, you’ll need to use an alternative nearby stop while the diversion is in place.
It’s worth planning ahead if you’re heading out late this evening or relying on the last services home.
