Residents in Overton can recycle their real Christmas trees while supporting a local cause on Saturday 10 January, thanks to a village collection organised by Monster Tree Services.
The team will be collecting Christmas trees from homes across the village for £10 per tree, with all proceeds donated to the Overton Recreation Centre.
To take part, residents are asked to email info@monstertreeservices.co.uk with their address. Monster Tree Services will then provide an estimated time slot for collection.
On the day, trees should be left somewhere accessible for the crew to collect. Anyone who needs extra help is encouraged to get in touch, as assistance is available.
Donations can be made in cash at the point of collection, or via bank transfer if preferred. All trees will be chipped and removed by a licensed waste carrier.
It is a simple way to avoid pine needles in the car, support a local charity, and make sure Christmas trees are disposed of responsibly.
