Residents of Overton are being encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting of St Luke’s Hall, which will take place on Wednesday 8th July at 7.30pm.
The AGM is open to everyone and provides a chance for villagers to learn more about how the hall is managed and maintained. As one of Overton’s key community facilities, St Luke’s Hall belongs to the village and is run for the benefit of local residents.
Organisers say the meeting is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has never visited the hall before. Visitors will be able to look around the building, meet those involved in its operation, and gain a better understanding of the role it plays in village life.
The AGM will also cover the hall’s activities over the past year, future plans, and the work carried out by volunteers and committee members who help keep the venue running.
Whether you regularly use the hall or have simply wondered what goes on behind the scenes, residents are warmly invited to come along and find out more.
The meeting takes place at St Luke’s Hall on Wednesday 8th July at 7.30pm.
