Overton United’s Sunday side have been crowned Andover Sunday League Division 2 champions, completing an impressive league and cup double.
Their title win was confirmed on Monday evening following SB Wanderers’ 3-0 victory over Charlton Wanderers, a result that ensured Overton could no longer be caught at the top of the table.
The Sunday side have been in strong form all season, already securing the Junior Challenge Cup and now adding the league title to cap off a dominant campaign.
The result sees Overton promoted to Division 1 for next season, marking a new chapter for the club after a standout year in Sunday football.
