Town Meadow Golf Club, located on the scenic River Test in Overton, is calling all golf enthusiasts to join its community of over 250 members. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the club offers a challenging 9-hole Par 3 course, perfect for golfers of all ages and abilities.
Managed by the Overton Recreation Centre, Town Meadow Golf Club hosts a busy and exciting golfing calendar, with regular monthly competitions on Sundays. These competitions offer golfers the opportunity to compete for trophies and skill prizes, with all events designed to be accessible and enjoyable for both seasoned players and newcomers alike.

Membership Requirements and Fees
To become a member of Town Meadow Golf Club, it is essential to also be a paid-up member of the Overton Recreation Centre (ORC). The membership fees are annual, and once paid, they allow unlimited access to the golf course, providing great value for those who love the game.
The only additional costs come from participating in the Monthly Events, which are set at a very reasonable £5.00 per competition. This fee covers 18 holes of golf, tea, coffee, and bacon rolls, as well as two raffle tickets for the chance to win a £20 prize – and, of course, the opportunity to take home a coveted trophy.
Annual Fees Breakdown:
- ORC Membership – Basic: £24.00 (Includes 1 number in the monthly draw)
- ORC Membership – 5 Star: £120.00 (Includes 5 numbers in the monthly draw)
- Golf Membership: £130.00 (If Basic ORC member) or £60.00 (If 5 Star ORC member)
- Junior Golf Membership (Under 18): £25.00 – No ORC membership required if one parent is a paid-up member of ORC
