Angie brings a distinguished career in music to the festival. She has previously sung with The Foundations and has supported legendary acts including Mud, The Drifters and The Real Thing, making her a fantastic addition to an afternoon and evening packed with live entertainment.

The full Carpark Fest line-up will now feature Lani Clayton, Mya, John Bird, Angie, Jake Ward and headline act Funkline, who will bring the event to a spectacular close with their mix of funk, soul, disco and contemporary pop.

Live music will run throughout the day, with John Bird bringing country classics from 1pm, while Rob Francis will also take to the stage to perform between 1.45pm and 2.15pm.

But there will be much more to Carpark Fest than live music.

The event will feature an array of local stallholders, food, crafts and other independent traders, giving visitors the chance to support local businesses while enjoying the festivities. There will also be an impressive display of classic cars, alongside a Chilli Challenge hosted by Overton Radio's Chris Cloke, with support from Hornet Chilli in Basingstoke.

There's a sensory space for young visitors who wish to escape the noise of the event, courtesy of The Haven.

Organisers are also planning a range of family-friendly entertainment and activities throughout the day, with the possibility of the much-loved Human Fruit Machine making a return.

Carpark Fest is being held as part of Overton Radio's third birthday celebrations and will raise money for Overton Radio and Test Valley Men's Shed.

The event takes place at The Red Lion on Sunday 30th August, running from 12pm until 9pm, and the entire Overton Radio team will be there throughout the weekend helping to host and bring the celebrations to life.

With the final act now confirmed, the stage is set for a fantastic day of music, entertainment, community spirit and fundraising in the heart of Overton.
