A long-closed village building may soon be brought back to life by a group of local residents with plans to transform it into a vibrant community hub.
The Co-op has reopened today following an unexpected power outage yesterday that forced the store to temporarily close. Shoppers can now access the store, but management has advised that stock is limited, and several services are currently unavailable.
Due to the outage, both the Post Office and National Lottery facilities within the store are offline until further notice. Efforts are underway to restore these services as soon as possible. In the meantime, customers are encouraged to shop early for essential items as stock levels may vary.
Co-op staff have expressed gratitude for the community’s patience during the disruption and are working to replenish supplies and restore full operations swiftly.
