Residents in Overton are being invited to enjoy an evening of live music later this month, as Overton Youth FC hosts a special Band Night to raise funds for its Under-14s squad.
The event will take place at St Mary’s Hall on Saturday, 25th April from 7pm, bringing together local talent and the community for a night of entertainment and support.
Kicking things off will be Intro Zero, a two-piece acoustic covers act set to ease guests into the evening with a mix of well-known favourites. Taking centre stage later in the night will be The 145s, a four-piece band from the Overton and Basingstoke area, promising a lively set packed with hits from across the decades.
Organisers say the night is all about backing the club’s young players as they prepare for an upcoming tour to Holland. Funds raised will go directly towards helping the team make the trip, offering players a chance to gain valuable experience both on and off the pitch.
Tickets are priced at £15 and include a complimentary drink on arrival. With numbers capped at just 100, demand is already high and tickets are said to be selling fast.
The event is open to over-18s only, and organisers are encouraging anyone interested to secure their place as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
Those looking for a relaxed night out with good music and a strong community feel are urged to get involved and show their support for the next generation of local footballers.
