Overton Radio is pleased to welcome on-air the first of our new supporters for the coming year.
Shane King Roofing begins their new advertising campaign next week and we’re excited to give you a sneak listen to their new radio commercial, where Shane appears to be exciting a homeowner by ‘stripping’ (listen below)!
Shane has almost 45 years’ experience as a slate roof and tiling expert and is well-known around the village for his quality of work, positive attitude and professionalism. Shane is also respected for his incredible local wildlife photography.
The ex-Overton United player says, “I’m so pleased to get this advert on the radio, it’ll be a great reminder to people in Overton about my business and introduce it to new people coming into the village.
“Also, in supporting Overton Radio through my marketing campaign, it funds our community radio station to provide other services like their hosting and entertainment at local events like the school fete, fireworks and Christmas market events.”
Shane scored over 300 goals for Overton United FC, is a volunteer for the local branch of the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) and loves the River Test area and our beautiful local countryside.
Shane King is the first of a few ‘local advertising partners’ who support Overton Radio, enabling the hyper-local radio station to continue broadcasting for the coming year.
