Overton is getting ready for one of its most beloved and eccentric summer traditions: the annual Overton Wheelbarrow Race! Scheduled for Friday, July 18th at 7:30pm, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better, all in the name of raising vital funds for local sporting facilities.

The madcap dash will begin on Pound Road, winding its way through every pub in the village—so expect a lively atmosphere and plenty of cheer—before crossing the finish line at the Overton Recreation Centre. Whether you’re competing, cheering from the sidelines, or just tagging along for the village pub crawl, it’s sure to be a night to remember.
