Sustainable Overton will be celebrating Green Weekend 15-16 July 2023. There will be ‘Meet the Invertebrates’ River dipping at Flashetts (with the kind permission of the landowners) a Bug Hunt and ‘bring-your-own’ picnic at Overton Community Orchard with more information being shared about exciting new plans to expand biodiversity around Overton Hill. A brand-new Green Spaces trail to explore all of Overton’s open spaces will be unveiled. Overton’s Community Centre forecourt will also showcase some of the other ‘green’ initiatives Overton villagers can get involved and support.
